Ductile iron NRS flanged resilient gate valves designed to SANS/SABS 664, FBE coating on both interior & exterior surfaces.

• Manufactured in compliance with SANS/SABS 664, the South African National Standard for cast iron resilient-seal gate valves used in waterworks. This standard, published by South African Bureau of Standards (SABS), ensures strict control over materials, design, pressure rating, coating, and performance, providing reliable, corrosion-resistant, and high-quality valves for municipal and potable water applications.
• The non-rising spindle (NRS) design, also known as non-rising stem, keeps the stem movement contained within the valve body, eliminating the need for additional vertical space. This compact configuration allows for easy installation in underground chambers or confined areas where space is limited. The enclosed stem design also protects the operating mechanism from dirt and corrosion, ensuring smooth, maintenance-free operation and long service life.
• The valve body is integrally cast with flanged ends, with drilling dimensions conforming to SANS/SABS 1123 PN10 or PN16 for compatibility with standard piping systems. These precision-machined flanges provide a secure, leak-tight connection and simplify installation, maintenance, and replacement.
• Other features: ductile iron body & bonnet, resilient seated, valve cap & T key, or handwheel operated.
