Metalsin‘s Trailer-mounted Mobile Desalination Station is specifically engineered for rapid disaster response, providing a critical lifeline in regions where infrastructure has been compromised by floods, earthquakes, or hurricanes. Designed for high-speed deployment, these units turn any saline or brackish water source into high-purity drinking water within hours of arrival.

Custom-design trailer mounted SWRO station for emergency relief and remote mobility, with a production capacity of 250 L per hour.
To meet varying logistical requirements, our mobile stations are available in two primary configurations:
Each unit is built for total energy independence. They can be connected to an external power grid or driven by a built-in high-performance diesel generator, ensuring 24/7 operation in total blackout conditions.
The reliability of our mobile station stems from the integration of industrial-grade core components, including high-efficiency Feed and High-Pressure Pumps, advanced RO Membranes (DOW or TORAY), and corrosion-resistant tanks. The entire process is managed via a Siemens/Schneider PLC system and an intuitive HMI touchscreen, allowing operators to monitor water quality and system pressure in real-time with minimal training.

Trailer mounted RO desalination station for rapid disaster response, deployable freshwater utility with a built-in diesel generator.
The seawater RO desalination process begins with raw seawater being stored in a raw water tank and delivered by a water pump through a series of pre-treatment units. The water first passes through a mechanical filter to remove suspended solids, followed by an activated carbon filter to reduce organic matter and chlorine. A softener is then used to minimize scaling potential before the water enters a precision filter for fine particle removal. After pre-treatment, the conditioned seawater enters the first-stage reverse osmosis (RO) system, where a significant portion of dissolved salts and impurities is removed.

Trailer-mounted seawater desalination system housed in 40′ containers towed by truck for rapid deployment: 300 tons per day.
The permeate from the first-stage RO is collected in an intermediate water tank, where pH adjustment may be applied before entering the second-stage RO system for further purification. The final purified water is stored in a purified water tank and undergoes additional post-treatment, including ozone disinfection, ultraviolet sterilization, and microfiltration, to ensure safe and stable water quality. A loop circulation pipeline helps maintain water freshness and hygiene, while concentrated brine generated during the process is discharged through the concentrate backflow system.
Metalsin‘s mobile stations utilize premium materials and world-class components to ensure durability in harsh maritime environments.
