DIN 3352 F5 Ductile Iron NRS Gate Valves

Design Features

At Metalsin, we supply DIN 3352 F5 ductile iron non-rising stem (NRS) gate valves, which are furnished with resilient seat and flanged ends. DINF 3352 F5 denotes that the face-to-face dimensions are in accordance with Series F5 of DIN 3202-1, which is equivalent to Series 15 of EN 558-1. Both exterior and interior surfaces of the valves are FBE coated in accordance with AWWA C550, suitable for water supply services at the temperatures ranging from -10°C to 90°C. The flanged ends shall be furnished in accordance with DIN 2501-1 & EN 1092-2 PN 10 and PN 16.

The most notable feature of these valves is that, compared with DIN 3352 Series F4, they have much longer face-to-face dimensions, which enhance structural integrity by evenly distributing stress, improve sealing and alignment for leak-free operation — especially when thicker gaskets or linings are used — and offer additional space for enhanced sealing features, while also providing greater installation flexibility to accommodate minor piping misalignments, ultimately contributing to improved performance and longer service life.
