A Prepaid IC Card Water Meter (also known as a Smart Card Water Meter or RF Card Water Meter) is an advanced digital device designed for automatic water fee management. It allows users to prepay for water consumption through an IC card, enabling both water utilities and end users to manage water usage efficiently and transparently.

This type of smart water meter integrates electronic measurement, data storage, and payment control systems. Users simply recharge their IC card with a desired amount of water credit and insert or swipe it on the meter to activate water supply. When the prepaid balance is used up, the meter automatically closes the valve and stops water flow until the card is recharged again. Prepaid IC card water meters are widely used in residential buildings, apartments, dormitories, commercial offices, and other properties where water usage is billed by household or unit.
The prepaid IC card water meter offers a range of intelligent features designed to improve water usage management and user convenience. It supports tiered water pricing to encourage conservation and features a prepaid system that prevents overdue payments while simplifying billing for utilities. The meter includes flexible card management for easy card replacement, recycling, and data transfer, and provides a dual display combining mechanical and electronic readouts for clear visibility. With its IP68 waterproof rating, anti-magnetic and anti-vibration protection, and built-in alarm function for low balance or system faults, the device ensures reliable, accurate, and secure operation in various environments.

The prepaid IC card water meter operates on a DC 3.6V ± 0.6V power supply, featuring ultra-low power consumption with a static current of no more than 20 μA and a working current below 40 mA at normal temperatures (15°C–35°C). It is designed to withstand a maximum working pressure of PN16, with a pressure loss of ≤0.1 MPa, ensuring stable performance even under demanding conditions. The meter is suitable for both cold (T30) and hot water (T90) applications and complies with the ISO 4064 Class B accuracy standard. Certified by ISO and CE, the product also comes with free management software for clients, providing a reliable and user-friendly solution for smart water metering.
